Travel from Bengaluru to Kozhikode during 2nd Wave Lockdown 9th June 2021

We traveled from Kozhikode to Bengaluru on 9th June 2021.

Documents Required (Soft-Copy in mobile phone is enough)
Covid Negative Report
Office/Work ID Card

The documents only required to be shown at Karnataka Border. The documents will be checked at the border (Muthanga). They asked specifically for a work ID card so that they can justify that you are traveling for work. Even though we did not have any in person and not did we have a photo, they let us through once I explained the reason we traveled. Aadhaar/Driving License will not do.
In Kerala if they stop anywhere, we just mention that we were going to Karnataka and they let us continue.

The police are friendly and understanding. And unless you have some weird reason, they will just let you go as soon as you show the documents.

In Wayanad, the Police checkposts are there at every town as well as at the top of Thamasserry Churam, and they were mostly just asking the the where from and where to.
In Kozhikode, they were police and barriers, but they were just letting vehicles through.

In Karnataka, we were only stopped at few points, all in the Mysore-Mysore Highway (Mandya, Chanapatna and Ramanagara). We just showed the RTPCR Test report and said that we were going to Bengaluru and they let us pass.

PS there is no time to be saved by taking the Mysore Ring Road/Bypass. Just go through Mysore, there is no traffic.
